A Word from Our Clients

Collector Testimonials

Coin Photography Studio…. was the missing piece in our marketing efforts that we needed to correctly and truly express the value and image of our coins online. Denis is a true master craftsman in every way. The value Coin Photography Studio added to our sales far exceeds the reasonable cost to capture our entire line of products. I can highly recommend Denis to any serious collector, mint, or museum. He has shot almost 100 coins for us and every print is crafted to perfection.  We could not be more pleased.

These are INCREDIBLE. They are completely beyond what I thought was possible. I'm thoroughly impressed you could pull it off this time.

Looking forward to more in the future.

As a coin collector, having high-quality images of my collection is important to me. I have found Denis to provide excellent photographs, customized to my requirements, with great service, and at a reasonable price.

We recently had the great pleasure of working with Denis at Coin Photography Studio; in short, we could not be more impressed. From the beginning to the end of the project, we had the most professional experience. We were given prompt and in-depth communications that helped us find the service we were looking for. Denis worked with us to go above and beyond and provided the QuickPics package for a fair and reasonable price. I deeply appreciate the willingness to cater to our schedule and needs.

With Denis' clear communication, we have had a flawless project. For anyone interested in their services, I highly recommend sending in a coin that has "PCGS TrueView" or "NGC PhotoVision" and comparing their results. We were thrilled with the detail and realism that Coin Photography Studio is able to capture. We operate a rare coin eBay store, and after implementing our photos from Coin Photography Studio, we have seen monthly sales double.

If you are looking for a coin photographer who is professional, accommodating, and exceeds expectations, look no further. Highly recommend.

Denis is great to deal with - easy to work with and clearly invested in what he does. His appreciation for coins really comes through in his photography. As a collector, I value the care and attention he gives to each piece. He’s photographed several of my favourite toned coins, and I’m very happy with the results.

I’m extremely impressed with how the photos turned out; they exceeded my expectations in every way! You brought each coin to life!

If you wish to use any images in advertising, please do not hesitate; they are beautiful examples that deserve to be shared! The way you capture a coin’s beauty is significantly better than anything a Trueview can provide!

With three decades of commercial photographic experience and years specializing in coins, we understand the technical and artistic demands of photographing a wide range of items, from ancient and medieval coins to modern proofs and bullion. Let's Talk About Your Collection.

Shot of the Week

A special thank you to Charles Euston for the opportunity to photograph this coin. One of the things I enjoy most about photographing coins is the anticipation of rare and unique ones like this showing up.

This remarkable Roman silver denarius was struck by the Rhine legions during one of the most turbulent years in Roman history—the Year of the Four Emperors (69 AD). The obverse bears the draped bust of the Genius Populi Romani (the Genius of the Roman people), while the reverse depicts Mars, naked, save his helmet. Remarkably, only six examples are known to exist.

The Rhine legions would help shape the future of the Roman Empire by proclaiming Aulus Vitellius emperor, marching into Italy to defeat Otho, and later clashing with the eastern forces loyal to Vespasian. This small silver coin was struck in the midst of that political and military upheaval, making it more than a rare numismatic treasure in surviving one of Rome's defining moments.
